Pumpkins

We reluctantly have to allow Sometimes We Do Quilt Bee members to move away from our area but after 20 plus years of friendship, we don't let them quit our Bee. We just take a road trip to their house for lunch!
A few years ago, Peggy moved to Greenwood, Delaware. She is a quilter, a talented decorator and crafter and along with her husband Don, owns Don's Tree Farm. They have planted their acreage with Christmas trees and have built a seasonal business. They sell hand-made Holiday decorations including, wreaths, door swags, table centerpieces, ornaments, stockings, and cemetery mounds.
Did I mention pumpkins and gourds and mums? And a Maze and hay rides and scare crows and lots of fun for families and kids. Check out their website at www.DonsTreeFarm.com.
It's always a fun day when we drive down to Peggy's house. And lunch was great with delicious apple pie for desert. The whole back end of the car was loaded with pumpkins and mums. Some houses around here are going to be looking good. Thanks, Peggy.
